HomeMy WebLinkAbout90-11 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE BY-LAW NUMBER 90-11 Being a By-Law to assume certain streets within the Town of Newcastle as public highways in the Town of Newcastle and to repeal By-Law Number 89-189. NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle enacts as follows; 1. THAT the streets and street widening blocks described in Registered Plan 10M-786 (described in Schedule "A" attached hereto and forming part of this By-Law) all being in the Town of Newcastle, in the Regional Municipality of Durham, are hereby accepted by the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle as public highways, and assumed by the said Corporation for public use. 2. THAT the Clerk be authorized to apply to the Land Registry Office to have the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle shown as the owner of the streets and street widening blocks in Plan 10M-786. 3. THAT By-Law Number 89-189 be hereby repealed.
