THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW NUMBER 88- 94
being a By-law to amend By-law 76-24, as amended by By-law 87-69 of the Corporation
of the Town of Newcastle.
WHEREAS the COuncil of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle deems it
advisable to amend By-law 76-24, as amended, in order to revise the
Schedule of Fees payable in respect of Building Permits.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the COuncil of the Corporation of the
Town of Newcastle enacts as follows:
1. By-law 76-24, as amended by By-law 87-69 is hereby amended by deleting Schedule
"X" in its entirety and replacing same with a new Schedule "X" as attached.
2. Schedule "X" attached hereto shall form part of this By-law.
3. This By-law shall come into effect on the date of passing hereof.

SCHEDULE "X"
TO BY-LAW 88- 94
RESPECTING
CLASSES OF BUILDING PERMITS AND FEES
To construct a residential,
commercial or industrial building
or addition to a building.
A minimum of $25.00 or $7.00 per
$1000 or portion therof of the
total valuation of the work.
To demolish a building.
$25.00 or $7.00 per 1000 sq. ft.
of gross floor area or portion
thereof whichever is greater.
