THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW 88-60
being a by-law to amend By-law 79-1, as
amended, entitled "a by-law to provide
for the parking, standing and stopping
on highways or parts of highways under
the jurisdiction of the Corporation of
the Town of Newcastle and on private
and municipal property"
WHEREAS on March 28, 1988, the Council of the Corporation of the
Town of Newcastle enacted by-law 88-37, entitled lIa by-law declaring
Part II of the Provincial Offences Act, R.S.O. 1980, Chapter 400
as amended, applIcable to parkIng Infractions under certain
municipal by-lawsll;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT By-law 79-1 as amended, of the Corporation of the Town of
Newcastle, be further amended, and the penalties detailed in
Section XV Subsections 1, 2 and 3 of By-law 79-1, as amended,
by By-law 87-96 are hereby repealed;
2. THAT the penalties detailed in Schedule IIAII to this By-law are
substituted therefore;
3. THAT this by-law shall come into force and effect on September
1, 1988, subject to the approval of the Lieutenant Governor in
Council.
