being a by-law to amend By-law 87-156
entitled a by-law to provide for the
licensing, regulating and keeping of dogs
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle
deems it advisable to amend By-law 87-156 of the Corporation of
the Town of Newcastle
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
NEWCASTLE HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the interpretation section of By-law 87-156 is hereby
amended by the addition thereto of the following definition:
(i) "Running at Large" - A dog shall be deemed to be running
at large when found in any place other than the property
of the owner of the dog and not under the control of any
person.
By-law read a first and second time this 11th day of April 1988.
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 11th day of April 1988.
