BY-LAW 88 - 174
being a By-Law to appoint a Clerk
THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT Patti L. Barrie is hereby appointed Clerk of the
Town of Newcastle, effective 8:30 a.m., November 7th 1988;
2. THAT the said appointment be in accordance with the terms and
conditions set out in Schedule IIAII attached hereto.
By-Law read a first and second time this 7th day of November 1988
By-Law read a third time and finally passed this 7th day of November 1988

SCHEDULE "A" TO BY-LAW 88 - 174
TERMS AND COND I nONS OF THE APPO I NTMENT OF PA Tn L. BARRI E
AS THE CLERK FOR THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
The following shall be the terms and conditions of the employment of
PATTI L. BARRIE as the Clerk of the Town of Newcastle, namely:
1. Effective 8:30 a.m. on November 7th 1988, Mrs. Patti L. Barrie
shall commence her employment as the Clerk of the Corporation
of the Town of Newcastle;
2. The duties and responsibilities of the Clerk shall be as defined
in the Municipal Act and other related Provincial Legislation
as may be amended from time to time. and other similar duties as
may be assigned from time to time;
3. Patti L. Barrie shall be remunerated at Level 14, Step 11 of the
Salary Administration Program of the Town of Newcastle for
non-affiliated staff, subject to any adjustments approved
by Counci 1 ;
4. Mrs. Patti L. Barrie shall be entitled to all other employee benefits
for non-affiliated staff as may be determined from time to time.
