", THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE BY-LAW 87- 96 REPEALED BY Cj f'\ _ Q,..:2- 4 / BY-LAW #.f.~........~ being a by-law to amend By-law 79-1 as amended, "being a by-law for the regulating of parking, standing or stopping on highways under the jurisdiction of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle deems it advisable to amend By-law 79-1 as amended; NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: ,. THAT Schedule "EII to By-law 79-1 as amended, is further amended by deleting Schedule "E" therefrom and substituting the revised Schedule "[1' attached to this by-Law as Schedule "A" therefor; 2. THAT until such time as the parking meters in the controlled parking areas of the Bowmanville Urban Area of the Town of Newcastle are finally converted to reflect the new hourly rates, the rates for parking shall be those posted or indicated on each parking meter or parking control device; 3. THAT Section XV entitled "Penalties" to By-law 79-1 as amended, is hereby further amended by deleting subsection 1) therefrom and substituting the following revised subsection therefor: 1) "Any p~rson who contravenes the provisions of subsection (1) and (2) of Section III, Subsections (1), (2), (3), (4) and (5) of Section VIII of this by-law shall be subject to a penalty of not less than three ($3.00) dollars and not more than twenty-five ($25.00) dollars for each offence exclusive of costs recoverable under the provisions of the Summary Convictions Act." 4. THAT By~laws 79-121 and 79-122 shall be and are hereby repealed. 5. THAT thiS by-law'; shalhtake ,effect immediately upon approval by the Counci 1 of the Town of Newcastle.
