THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW NUMBER 87-13
being a By-law to amend By-law 84-63, the Comprehensive Zoning
By-law of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle deems
it advisable to amend By-law 84-63, as amended, of the Corporation of
the Town of Newcastle.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Corporation of
the Town of Newcastle enacts as follows:
1. Section 15.4.4(a) is hereby amended by changed from IIDwelling
Units (maximum) 111" to "Dwel1 i ng Units (maximum) 121".
2. Section 15.4.4(d)(iii) is hereby amended by changing from
IIExterior Sideyard 50 metresll to IIExterior Side Yard 8 metres".
3. Section 15.4.4(h) is hereby amended by changing from "1 having
a minimum area of 35 metresll to 111 having a minimum area of 35 square
met res" .
4. Schedule 11311 to By-law 84-63, as amended, is hereby further
amended by changing the zone designation from IIEnvironmental
Protection (EP)" to IIEnvironmental Protection Exception (EP-2)1I as
shown on the attached Schedu 1 e IIX II hereto.
5. This By-law shall come into effect on the date of passing
hereof, subject to the provisions of Section 34 of the Planning Act.
