THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW 87-102
being a by-law to establish an approval fee
for the review and approval of engineering
drawings for subdivision development.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle
considers it desireable to establish an approval fee for the review
and approval of engineering drawings for subdivision development for
the purpose of providing funds to offset the costs of review and
approval of the engineering drawings related to subdivision
development in the Town.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED as a by-law for the Corporation of the
Town of Newcastle as follows:
1. An approval fee be established for the review and approval of
engineering drawings for subdivision development in the Town of
Newcastle.
2. That the approval fee be set at one percent (1%) of the
engineer's cost estimate for the Town's civil works.
3. That said fee be deposited into the Reserve Fund entitled
Engineering & Inspection Contributions.
4. That said fees be collected as they relate to review and
approval of engineering drawings for subdivision development
submitted after June 1, 1987.
By-law read a first and second time this 25th day of May, 1987.
By-law read a third and final time this 25th day of May, 1987.
