being a by-law to appoint a By-law Enforcerrent
Officer for the purpose of Parking Control
WHEREAS the Mtmicipal Council of the Corporation of the Town of Ne~astle
has enacted a By-law No. 79-1 entitled I}being a by-law to regulate the
parking, standing, stopping on highways or parts of highways under the
jurisdiction of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle, and on private
and municipal property"; and
WHEREAS it is desirable to appoint Evelyn Main Malloy as a By-law
Enforcerrent Officer by by-law for the sole purpose of enforcing the
Parking By-law so mentioned, pursuant to Section 68 of the Police Act
R.S.O. 1970, Chapter 351 and shall be a peace officer for the purpose of
enforcing the Parking By-law;
NCM THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATIQNOF THE 'I'CWN OF NEV\CASTLE
HEREBY ENACl'S AS FOI.I.CWS:
1. That Evelyn Main Malloy is hereby appointed By-law Enforcerrent
Officer for the pw:pose of enforcing the Parking By-law No. 79-1.
