BY-LAW NO. 89-84
being a By-law to appoint a Property Standards
Officer
WHEREAS the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the 'Ibwn of Newcastle
has enacted By-law No. 82-63 entitled "being a bY-law to prescribe
standards for the maintenance and occupancy of property within the Town
of Newc:astle", pursuant to the provisions of Section 36 of The Planning
Act; and
WHEREAS Section 4.1 of By-law Number 82-63 requires that the Town of
of Newcastle enact a By-law appointing a Property Standards Officer;
NCM THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE 'IUVN OF NEWCASTLE
HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLU:MS:
1. The person appointed by the Council of the Corporation of the
'Ibwn of Newcastle fran time to time as By-law Enforcement Officer,
pursuant to the provisions of the Ontario Police Act, Section 68
R.S.O. 1970, Chapter 351, is hereby appointed to act as the
Property Standards Officer.
2. The person appointed by the Corporation of the 'Ibwn of Newc:astie
fran time to time as the By-law Enforcement Officer is hereby
appointed to act as the Property Standards Officer.
