THAT John M. Rzeszut is hereby appointed Deputy Treasurer of the TOwn of Newcastle, effective 8:30 a.m., May 1st 1989. 2. THAT the said appointment be in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in Schedule "A" attached hereto. 3. THAT By-law 86 - 17 be rescinded. Schedule "An to By-Law 89 - 62 TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE APPOIN'IMENT OF JOHN M. RZESZUT AS THE DEPUTY TREASURER FOR THE TCMN OF NEWCASTLE The following shall be the terms and conditions of the employment of John M. Rzeszut as the Deputy Treasurer of the Town of Newcastle, namely: 1. Effective 8:30 a.m. on May 1st 1989, John M. Rzeszut shall commence his employment as Deputy Treasurer of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle; 2. The duties and responsibilities of the Deputy Treasurer shall be in accordance with By-Law 86 - 4 as may be amended from time to time and other similar duties as may be assigned from time to time; 3. John M. Rzeszut shall be remunerated at Level 14, Step 5 of the Salary Administration Program of the TOwn for non-affiliated staff, subject to any adjustments approved by Council; 4. John M. Rzeszut shall be entitled to all other employee benefits for non-affiliated staff as may be determined from time to time. 5. The employment of John M. Rzeszut shall be subject to a 60 working day probationary period at the expiry of which his performance shall be evaluated by the Chief Administrative Officer in conjunction with the Treasurer; 6. John M. Rzeszut's vacation entitlement will consist of an equivalent of ten working days in 1989.
