Spruyt and Vincent of a portion of the unopened road allowance for Wilmot Street lying easterly from Mill Street. WHEREAS Dr. Marlene Spruyt and Dr. Eleanore Vincent have applied to the Town of Newcastle for the sale and conveyance to them of Part 1 shown on the draft plan of survey prepared by Brown & Coggan Ltd., dated May 30, 1989 which is on file with the Town's Director of Public Works; WHEREAS the aforesaid Part 1 comprises a portion of the unopened road allowance for Wilmot Street running easterly from Mill Street; WHEREAS Council is satisfied that the public highway at no time has been laid out, established or dedicated on the unopened road allowance for Wilmot Street lying east of Mill Street; WHEREAS the aforesaid Part 1 is not required for any municipal purpose; WHEREAS the Council has adopted the recommendations contained in the General Purpose and Administration Committee Report WD-92-89 at its meeting on December 11, 1989; The Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle enacts as follows: 1. The land comprising Part 1 shown on the draft plan of survey prepared by Brown & Coggan Ltd., dated May 30, 1989 which is on file with the Town's Director of Public Works is not required for the municipal purposes and is authorized to be sold and conveyed to Dr. Marlene Spruyt and Dr. Eleanore Vincent, or to their direction, on the terms and conditions set out in the recommendations contained in General Purpose and Administration Committee Report WD-92-89 adopted by Council at its meeting of December 11, 1989. 2. The Mayor and Clerk are authorized to execute all necessary documents to give effect to the foregoing on the Town's behalf. 3. Town officials are authorized to take all necessary action to give effect to the foregoing.
