REGULATION
a By-law to amend By-law 79-104, a
By-law to provide for the
maintenance, management, regulation
and control of cemeteries in the
Town of Newcastle and to repeal
By-law 89-195.
The Council of the Corporation of the Twon of Newcastle enacts as
follows.
THAT By-law 79-104 be and the same is herby amended as follows:
1. THAT Section 8ii) be deleted therefrom in its entirety
and replaced with the following:
8ii) BURIALS
Not more than two casket burials
shall be allowed in one lot. Up to
six ash burials at single depth will
be permitted in a vacant lot or a
lot occupied by a single or double
casket burial. A burial initially
used for ash burial may not later be
used for casket burials.
2. THAT Schedule "A" to By-law 79-104 be rescinded and
replaced with Schedule "A" attached hereto forming part
of this By-law.
3. By-law 89-195 is hereby repealed.
This By-law shall come into force on January 1, 1990
subject to the approval of the Ministry of Consumer and
Commercial Relations.
By-law read a first and second time this 27th day of Novemher,1989.
By-law read a third time and finally passed this day of
Novemeber, 1989.

exception of the Tariff of Rates, Schedule "A"
which has been filed as of December 7, 1989,
in accordance with the regulations under the
Cemeteries Act.
