By-law 89- 177
being a by-law to establish a Reserve
for (Community Services Development)
Whereas, the Council of the Corporation of the TOwn of Newcastle
considers it desirable to establish a Community Services Development
Reserve for Capital projects with Funding provided from outside
sources.
And Whereas, it is desirable to see certain projects proceed to an
early completion.
And Whereas, funding is available from outside sources.
And Whereas, it is in the TOwn's interest to administer the project to
completion.
And Whereas, funds must be received prior to cormnencement of a
project.
N:>w Therefore, Be It Enacted and it is Enacted as By-law of the
Corporation of the TOwn of Newcastle as follows:
l. That the Treasurer be authorized to establish a Reserve Account
entitled Community Services Development Reserve: and
2. That the Council by resolution passed by a majority of members
present, direct the use of the funds for specific projects.
