BY-LAW 89-l55
BEING a By-LaW of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle
to appoint a Tax Collector
THE MUNICIPAL Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle hereby,
ENAcrS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That Ruth Swan is hereby appointed Tax Collector to the
Town of Newcastle during the pleasure of Council;
2. That Ruth Swan shall be paid for her services such sum annually
in accordance with the terms and conditions as set out in schedule
"A" attached hereto.
3. That By-law 89-125 is hereby repealed.

Schedule "A"
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF APPOINTMENT OF RUTH SWAN
The following shall be the terms and conditions of the employment of Ms. Ruth
Swan as Tax Collector for the Town of Newcastle, namely:
1. Effective September 15, 1989, Ms. Ruth Swan shall commence
employment with the COrporation of the Town of Newcastle as Tax
COllector.
2. The duties and responsibility of the Tax COllector are those
established by By-law No. 81-147 as may be amended from time to
time.
3. Ruth Swan shall be remunerated in accordance with the Town's
policy in respect to the compensation for non-affiliated staff
and more specifically shall be paid at a salary Level 10, Step
10.
4. Ruth Swan shall be immediately entitled to all employee benefits
enjoyed by all other non-affiliated staff as may be determined
from time to time.
