RePEALED~. 155 BYeLAW.O.........._ THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE BY-LAW 89- 125 BEING a By-LaW of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle to appoint a Tax Collector THE MUNICIPAL Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle hereby, ENAC'l'S AS FOLLOWS: 1. That David Allman is hereby appointed Tax Collector to the Town of Newcastle during the pleasure of Council; 2. That David Allman shall be paid for his services such sum annually in accordance with the terms and conditions as set out in schedule "A" attached hereto. 3. That By-law 87-159 is hereby repealed. BY-LAW READ a first and second time this 10th day of July, 1989. BY-LAW READ a third and final time this 10th day of July, 1989. Mayor .. By-law 89-125 Schedule "A" TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF APPOINTMENT OF DAVID ALLMAN The following shall be the terms and conditions of the employment of Mr. David Allman as Tax Collector for the Town of Newcastle, namely: 1. Effective July 17, 1989, Mr. David Allman shall commence employment with the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle as Tax Collector. 2. The duties and responsibility of the Tax Collector are those established by By-law No. 81-147 as may be amended from time to time. 3. David Allman shall be remunerated in accordance with the Town's policy in respect to the compensation for non-affiliated staff and more specifically shall be paid at a salary Level 10, Step 14. 4. David Allman shall be immediately entitled to all employee benefits enjoyed by all other non-affiliated staff as may be determined from time to time. Dated at Newcastle this 10th day of July, 1989. DECLARATION OF APPOINTED OFFICE I, David Allman, do solemnly promise and declare that I will truly, faithfully and impartially, to the best of my knowledge and ability, execute the office of Tax Collector, that I will truly, faithfully and impartially, to the best of my knowledge and ability, execute the offices to which I have been appointed in this municipality, that I have not received and will not receive any payment or reward, or promise thereof, for the exercise of any partiality or of malversation or other undue execution of such office (or offices), and that I have not by myself or partner, either directly or indirectly, any interest in any contract with or on behalf of the Corporation except that arising out of my office as Tax Collector.
