THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY -LAW NUMBER 86- 87
being a By-law of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle to
appoint a Deputy Director of Planning.
The Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle hereby
enacts as follows:
1. THAT Larry Dennis Taylor is hereby appointed Deputy Director of
Planning of the Town of Newcastle during the pleasure of Council.
2. THAT Larry Dennis Taylor shall be paid for his services such a sum
annually determined in accordance with the terms and conditions set out
in Schedule IIAII attached hereto.
3. The said appointment shall be in accordance with the terms and
conditions set out in Schedule "A" attached hereto.

Terms and Conditions of appointment of Larry Dennis Taylor as Deputy Director
of Planning, Town of Newcastle.
The following shall be the terms and conditions of the employment of Larry
Dennis Taylor as Deputy Director of Planning, Town of Newcastle, namely:
1. Effective July 4, 1986, Mr. Larry D. Taylor shall commence his
employment with the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle as Deputy
Director of Planning.
2. The duties and responsibilities of the Deputy Director of Planning are
established by By-law 86- 87 as may be amended from time to time.
3. Mr. L.D. Taylor shall be renumerated in accordance with the Town Salary
Administration Program, Salary Grade 13 cOOlmencing at the 18th Month
salary level.
4. Mr. L.D. Taylor shall be entitled to all accumulated benefits presently
earned and shall be entitled to all other employee benefits for
non-affiliated staff as may be determined from time to time.
5. rvlr. L.D. Taylor shall forthwith and as reasonably practical take any
and all actions necessary to obtain membership in the Canadian
Institute of Planners and to complete the necessary course requirements
for his Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Studies.
