THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW 86-8
being a by-law to amend By-law 83-83 entitled
lIa by-law to constitute a Conunittee of
Adjustment for the Town of Newcastle pursuant
to the Planning Act, 1983, to authorize the
appointment of a Conunittee of Adjustment for
term of office of the appoint ing Council II
WHEREAS Section 43 of The Planning Act, 1983 provides that Councils of
Municipalities may pass by-laws to constitute and appoint a Committee
of Adjustment;
AND WHEREAS pursuant to Section 43 of The Planning Act, 1983, the Council
of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle did on June 13th 1983, enact
a By-law Number 83-83 constituting a Committee of Adjustment for the
Town of Newcastle;
AND WHEREAS Section 11 of By-law Number 83-83 designated certain persons
as being appointed to the Committee of Adjustment of the Town of Newcastle;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT Section 11 of By-law Number 83-83 is repealed and the
following new Section 11 substituted therefore:
"Section 11. The following persons are hereby appointed
Members of the Committee of Adjustment of the Town of
Newcastle:
Mr. T. F. Rehder
Mr~ J. P. Murdoch
Mrs. Jean Payne
Mr. Arnold Reicheld
Mr. Bernard W. Heming
Mr. Gordon H. Barrie
By-law read a first and second time this 13th day of January 1986
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 13th day of January 1986
