THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE BY-LAW 86-7 being a by-law to appoint Live Stock Valuers and to fix their remuneration WHEREAS Section 11(1) of The Dog Licensing and Livestock and Poultry Protection Act, Chapter 123, R.S.O. 1980, provides that the Council of every municipality shall appoint one or more persons as valuers of livestock and poultry for the purposes of this Act. NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. THAT the following are hereby appointed as Livestock and Poultry Valuers under the authority and for the purposes of the Authority and for the purposes of the Dog Tax and Livestock and Poultry Protection Act: Sidney Worden Arnot Wotten Henry (Harry) Worrall 2. THAT the said valuers shall receive the sum of Twenty-two Dollars and Seventy-Two Cents ($22.72) per diem when actually engaged in performing their duties as Livestock Valuers, and effective July 1st 1986, shall be increased to Twenty-Two Dollars and Ninety-Five Cents ($22.95) per diem. 3. THAT By-law 85-90 of the Town of Newcastle is hereby repealed.
