THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW 86-23
being a by-law to stop-up and close and to
authorize the sale of those portions of the
original unopened road allowance between
lots 32 and 33, all in Concession 1, in
the former Township of Darlington now in
the Town of Newcastle, designat~d as Parts
3, 4 and 5 on Plan 10R-1451
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation deems it desireable to pass
this by-law;
AND WHEREAS notice of intention of the Council of the Corporation of the
Town of Newcastle to pass the said by-law in accordance with the requirements
of Section 301, Chapter 302 of The Municipal Act, R.S.O., 1980, was published
in the Canadian Statesman on January 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th, 1986.
AND WHEREAS notice of the intention of the Council of the Corporation of
the TO\'H1 of Newcastle to pass this by-law was sent by registered mai I to
the Regional Municipality of Durham on the 16thday of December 1985,
and the Regional Municipality of Durham granted its approval to the
proposed by-law by letter dated the 31st day of December 1985.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED AS A BY-LAW OF THE
CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE AS FOLLOWS:
1. Part of those portions of the original unopened road allowance
between Lots 32 and 33, all in Concession 1, in the geographic
Township of Darlington, now in the Town of Newcastle, are
hereby stopped-up and closed;
ALL AND SINGLUAR those certain parcels or tracts of land and
premises situate, lying and being in the Town of Newcastle,
Regional Municipality of Durham, Province of Ontario, and
being composed of part of the original unopened road allowance
between Lots 32 and 33, of the former Township of Darlington,
more particularly designated as Parts 3, 4 and 5, according
to Plan 10R-1451, deposited in the Land Registry Office for
the Registry Division of Newcastle (No. 10) on March 24, 1982;
2. ALL those portions of the unopened road allowance hereinbefore
described shall be conveyed by the Corporation of the Town of
Newcastle to abutting owners.
By-law read a first and second time this 10th day of February 1986
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 10th day of February 1986
