THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW NUMBER 86- 22
being a By-law to amend By-law 83-15 of the Corporation of the Town
of Newcastle.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle has
adopted a by-law pursuant to the provisions of the Planning Act to
delegate the powers of Council in respect of site plan approval;
AND WHEREAS Council deems it appropriate to provide for the
continuation of the site plan approval process in the absence of one
of the designated officials;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Corporation of
the Town of Newcastle, enacts as follows:
1. Paragraph 1 of By-law 83-15 is hereby amended by inserting
the words 1I0r their designates" following the words "Publ ic Worksll in
the last line.
2. Paragraph 2 of By-law 83-15 is hereby amended by inserting the
words 1I0r their designates" following the words IIPublic Worksll in the
second line.
