THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY -LAW 86- 124
AMENDED BY
BY-lAW #~.7.:.t;.13
being a By-law of the Town of Newcastle
to appoint a Chief Administrative Officer.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That Mr. Lawrence E. Kotseff be appointed as the Chief Administrative
Officer for the Town of Newcastle on a tenured basis effective
8:30 a.m., October 6, 1986.
2. That Mr. Lawrence E. Kotseff be remunerated for his services such a sum
as annually determined in accordance with the terms and conditions set
out in Schedule IAI attached hereto.
3. That the said appointment be in accordance with the terms and
conditions set out in Schedule lA' attached hereto.
By-law read a first and second time this 8th day of September, 1986.
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 8th day of September, 1986.

Terms and Conditions of the Appointment of
Mr. Lawrence E. Kotseff as the Chief
Administrative Officer for the Town of Newcastle
The following shall be the terms and conditions related to the appointment of
Mr. Lawrence E. Kotseff as the Chief Administrative Officer for the Town of
Newcastle namely:
1. That effective from 8:30 a.m. on October 6, 1986, Mr. Lawrence E.
Kotseff shall commence his employment with the Corporation of the Town
of Newcastle as the Chief Administrative Officer;
2. That the duties and responsibilities of the ~hief Administrative
Officer shall be in accordance with By-law 85-23 as may be amended from
time to time;
3. That Mr. Lawrence E. Kotseff shall be remunerated in accordance with
the salary administration program of the Town, commencing at an annual
salary of $55,000.; and
4. That Mr. Lawrence E. Kotseff shall be entitled to all other employee
benefits for non-affiliated staff as may be determined from time to
time save and except that the vacation entitlement shall be four (4)
weeks upon commencement of employment.
