being a by-law to authorize the execution of
an agreement of Purchase and Sale with The
Schleiss Corporation ttd., and Rayev
Investments Ltd. and the Corporation of the
Town of Newcastle (Bowmanville Arena Lands)
THE COUNOJRlrmSJ'lT8E CBRPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE HEREBY ENACTS
AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute on behalf
of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle, and seal with the
Corporation's Seal, an Agreement of Purchase and Sale between The
Schleiss Corporation Ltd., and Rayev Investments Ltd., and the said
Corporation dated the 28th day of July 1986, in the form attached
hereto as Schedule IIAII~' with respect to the acquisition of 22.65+
acres of land being part of Lot 15, Concession 1, of the geographic
Township of Darlington, now in the Town of Newcastle;
2.' THAT Schedule IIAII attached hereto form part of this by-law.

3. The ~ndor agrees to provide vacant possession at the time of closing, subject
only to the condition that the tenant now cropping the land shall be entitled
to'access and to occupy the land until October 31st, 1986 for the purpose
of harvestin~ the crop of corn now growing on the land.
4. This offer is conditional for sixty days from the date of acceptance upon the
Purchaser assuring that approvaswill be obtained for the arena to be located
at that site. This condition is in favour of the Purchaser only.
