1HE CORPORATION OF 1HE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON
BY-LAW NUMBER 94- 53
being a By-law to amend By-law 84-63, the Comprehensive Zoning By-law for the
Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington deems it
advisable to amend By-law 84-63, as amended, of the former Town of Newcastle to
implement DEV 89-101.
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington in
approving the application deems it appropriate to incorporate a Holding (H) symbol on said
lands which would be removed at such time that the provisions of Section 3.9 within the
Comprehensive Zoning By-law of the former Town of Newcastle have been satisfied.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Corporation of the
Municipality of Clarington enacts as follows:
1. Schedule "4" to By-law 84-63 as amended, is hereby further amended by changing the
zone designation from:
"Special Purpose Commercial Exception (C5-5)", "Holding - Urban Residential Type One
((H)Rl" and "Urban Residential Type One (Rl)" to "Holding - General Commercial
((H)Cl)" zone.
2. Schedule "A" attached hereto shall form part of this By-law.
3. This By-law shall come into effect on the date of the passing hereof, subject to the
provisions of Section 34 of the Planning Act.

1994.
BY-LAW read a second time this 28th day of March
1994.
BY-LAW read a third time and finally passed this 28th day of Karch 1994.
