THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW NUMBER 93-67
being a By-law to amend By-law 84-63, the Comprehensive Zoning By-law for the
Corporation of the Town of Newcastle.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle deems it advisable
to amend By-law 84-63, as amended, of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle to
implement the approval of Zoning Amendment application DEV 90-069.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Corporation of the
Town of Newcastle enacts as follows:
1. Section 5.2 Special Exception - Environmental Prot~ction (EP) zone is hereby
amended by adding thereto the following new Special Exception 5.2.10 as follows:
"5.2.10 Environmental Protection (EP-I0) zone
Notwithstanding Section 5.1, those lands zoned "EP-I0" on the schedules to this By-
law may, in addition to those uses permitted in the Environmental Protection (EP)
zone, be used for a pole barn subject to the following special zone regulations:
a) Setback from watercourse (minimum) 10 metres
b) Floor area, Pole Barn (maximum) 191 square metres"
2. Schedule "7" to By-law 84-63 as amended, is hereby further amended by changing the
zone designation from:
"Environmental Protection (EP)" to "Environmental Protection - Special Exception
(EP-lO)"
2. Schedule "A" attached hereto shall form part of this By-law.
3. This By-law shall come into effect on the date of the passing hereof, subject to the
provisions of Section 34 of the Planning Act.
