BY-LAW 93- 176
Being a By-law to stop-up and close and to
authorize the sale of part of the unopened
unnamed lane to Neale and Shirley McLean
described as Part 3 of Reference Plan 40R-
14584, in the Municipality of Clarington.
WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of
Clarington deems it desirable to pass this By-law;
WHEREAS Council passed Resolution GPA-545-93 at its meeting of
September 20, 1993, and notice of the intention of Council to pass
this By-law was sent to The Regional Municipality of Durham on the
1st day of November, 1993, and The Regional Municipality of Durham
granted approval of the proposed By-law by letter dated "
November 2, 1993.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED AS A BY-LAW OF
THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT part of the unnamed lane described as part of Lots 2 and
3 and part of an unnamed lane, all in Block 'A' , according to
C. G. Hannings Plan of part of Lot 10, Concession 2, formerly
the Town of Bowmanville, now in the Municipality of
Clarington, more particularly described as Part 3 on Plan 40R-
14584, hereinafter described, is hereby stopped up and closed;
ALL AND SINGULAR THAT certain parcel and tract of land and
premises lying and being in the Municipality of Clarington, in
The Regional Municipality of Durham, Province of Ontario, and
being composed of part of the unnamed lane described as being
part of Lot 10, Concession 2, formerly the Town of
Bowmanville, more specifically described as Part 3 on Plan
40R-14584, deposited in the Land Registry Office for the
Registry Division of Durham (No. 40) on January 8, 1993.
2. All those portions of the unnamed lane hereinbefore described
shall be conveyed to Neale and Shirley McLean by The
Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington at a nominal
cost of $2.00 plus costs.
BY-LAW read a first and second time this 8th day of November, 1993.
BY-LAW read a third time and finally passed this 8th day of
November, 1993.
