THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON
BY-LAW NUMBER 93-143
being a By-law to amend By-law 84-63, the Comprehensive Zoning By-law for the former
Town of Newcastle and to repeal By-law 92-193.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington deems it
advisable to amend By-law 84-63, as amended, of the former Town of Newcastle in
accordance with application DEV 88-030 to permit the development of Phase 2 of Plan of
Subdivision 18T-88046.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Corporation of the
Municipality of Clarington enacts as follows:
1. By-law 92-193 is hereby repealed.
2. Schedule "3" to By-law 84-63, as amended, is hereby further amended by changing
the zone category from:
"Holding - Urban Residential Type One ((H)R1)" to "Urban Residential Type One (131)",
"Holding - Urban Residential Type Two ((H)R2)" to "Urban Residential Type Two (132)" and
"Holding - Urban Residential Type Three (H)R3)" to "Urban Residential Type Three (R3)".
3. Schedule "A" attached hereto shall form part of this By-law.
4. THAT this By-law shall come into effect on the date of the passing thereof, subject
to the provisions of Section 36 of the Planning Act.
BY-LAW read a first time this 27 day of Sept. 1993.
BY-LAW read a second time this 27 day of Sept. 1993.
BY-LAW read a third time and finally passed this 27 day of September 1993.
