Corporation of the Town of Newcastle
BY-LAW 85-90
Bei~ a by-law to appoint Live Stock Valuers and
to flX their remuneration.
WHEREAS Section 11(1) of The Dog Licensing and Live Stock
and Poultry Protection Act, Chapter 123, R.S.O. 1980,
provides that the Council of every Munici pal i ty shall appoi nt
one or more persons as valuers of live stock and poultry for
the purposes of this Act.
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
NEWCASTLE ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the following are hereby appointed as Live Stock
and Poultry Valuers under the authority and for the
purposes of the authority and for the purposes of the Dog
Tax and Live Stock and Poultry Protection Act;
Mr. Sidney Worden
Mr. Arnott Wotten
Mr. Henry (Harry) Worrall
2. THAT the said Valuers shall receive the sum of Twenty-One
Dollars and Eighty-Five Cents ($21.85) per diem when actually
engaged in performing their duties as Live Stock Valuers.
3. THAT by-law 85-14 of the Town of Newcastle is hereby
repea 1 ed.
By-Law read a first and second time this 8th day of July, 1985
By-Law read a third time and finally passed this 8th day of July, 1985
