THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW NUMBER 85- 76
being a By-law to amend By-law 84-63, as amendedt of the Town of
Newcastle.
WHEREAS the Council of the COt'pot'ation of the Town of Newcastle deems
it advi sable to amend By-l aw 84-63 as amended in ot'det' t'ecogni ze a
legally existing tt'anspot't depot.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the COt'pOt'ation of
the Town of Newcastle enacts as follows:
1. Section 23.3 SPECIAL EXCEPTIONS - LIGHT INDUSTRIAL (M1) ZONE is
het'eby amended by adding thet'eto the following new Special Exception
23.3.4 as follows:
"23.3.4 LIGHT INDUSTRIAL EXCEPTION Ml-4 ZONE
Notwithstanding Section 23.1 those lands zoned Ml-4 on the
schedules to this By-law, in addition to the uses pet'mitted in
the M1 zone, may al so be used fOt' a cat'tage Ot' tt'ansport depot
and yardll.
2. Schedule 113" to By-law 84-63, as amended, is het'eby fut'thet'
amended by changing to IIMl-4" the zone designation of the lands
indicated as "Z0NE CHANGE TO IMl-4" as indicated on the attached
Schedule IIX" het'eto.
3. Schedule "X" attached het'eto shall fOt'm pat't of this By-law.
4. This By-law shall come into effect on the date of passing
het'eof, subject to the pt'ovi si ons of Secti on 34 of the Pl anni ng
Act.
