THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY -LAW NUMBER 85- 52
being a By-law to amend By-law 84-63, Comprehensive Zoning By-law
of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle deems
it advisable to amend By-law 84-63 of the C~rporation of the Town of
Newcastle.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Corporation of
the Town of Newcastle enacts as follows:
1. By-law 84-157 of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle is
hereby repealed.
2. Section 6.4 of By-law 84-63 is hereby amended by adding thereto
the following new Subsection 6.4.22 as follows:
116.4.22 AGRICULTURAL EXCEPTION (A-22) ZONE
Notwithstanding Section 6.4.1, those lands zoned A-22 on the
Schedules to this By-law may only be used for a cemeteryll.
3. Schedule 1 of By-law 84-63 is hereby amended as follows:
a. by adding an IIA-2211 zone designation to Part of Lot 6,
Concession 5, geographic Township of Darlington as shown
on the attached Schedule "X_11I hereto.
4. Schedule 3 of By-law 84-63 is hereby amended as follows:
a. by deleting the IM2" zone designation on Part of Lot 8,
Concession 1, as shown on the attached Schedule IIX_211
hereto and replacing same with the zone designation
"A-2211.
5. This By-law shall come into effect on the date of passing
hereof, subject to the provisions of Section 34 of the Planning Act.
