THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW 85-30
being a by-law to amend By-law 84-142 of the
Town of Newcastle, entitled "a by-law to
authorize the expenditure of $300,000 by the
Newcastle Hydro Electric Commission and the
issuing of Debentures for same."
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle enacted
By-law 84-142 on December 10th 1984;
AND WHEREAS By-law 84-142 requires the approval of the Ontario Municipal
Board pursuant to Section 64(1) of the Ontario Municipal Board Act;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That By-law 84-142 be amended by the addition of a fourth section,
which reads as follows:
"4. That this by-law not take effect until approved by the
Ontario Municipal Board, pursuant to Section 64(1) of The
Ontario Municipal Board Act.1I
By-law read a first and second time this 25th day of
March
1985.
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 25th day of March 1985.
