THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW 85 - 149
BEING A BY-LAW TO APPOINT A TREASURER
The Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle
HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That John R. Blanchard is hereby appointed Treasurer
of the Town of Newcastle during the pleasure of Council.
2. That John R. Blanchard shall be paid for his services such
sum annually in accordance with the terms and conditions as
set out in Schedule "A" attached hereto.
3. That By-Law 81 - 142 is hereby repealed.
By-Law ,read a first time this 16th day of December 1985.
By-Law read a second time this 16th day of December 1985.
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 16th day of December 1985.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF APPOINTMENT OF JOHN R. BLANCHARD, TREASURER
The following are the terms and conditions of employment of
John R. Blanchard as Treasurer of the Town of Newcastle, namely:
1. Effective December 16th 1985, Mr. John R. Blanchard shall commence
employment with the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle as
Treasurer.
2. The duties and responsibilities of the Treasurer are those
established by By-law 81 - 87, as may be amended from
time to time.
3. Mr. John R. Blanchard shall be remunerated in accordance with the
Town1s policy in respect of the compensation for non-affiliated
staff and more specifically shall be paid from December 16th 1985
at the start rate of Salary Grade 16.
4. Mr. John R. Blanchard shall be entitled to all other employee
benefits enjoyed by all other non-affiliated staff as may be
determined from time to time.
