THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW 85- 116
being a by-law to dedicate certain lands as
a Public Highway in the Town of Newcastle
(Mearns Avenue)
BE IT ENACTED AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED AS A BY-LAW OF THE
CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE, BY THE COUNCIL THEREOF,
AS FOLLOWS:
1. The following land is hereby established as a Public Highway
known as Mearns Avenue in the former Town of Bowmanville, now
within the Town of Newcastle.
The said land hereby established as a Public Highway is
described as follows:
ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and
premises situate, lying and being in the Town of Newcastle,
in the Regional Municipality of Durham, formerly part of
Lot 8, Broken Front Concession, more particularly
described as Part 12A on Registered Plan 10R-750 deposited
in the Land Registry Office for the Registry Division of
Newcastle (No. W)on August 31 t 1977.
2. THAI By-law 85-40 be and is hereby repealed.
By-law read a first and second time this 15th day of October 1985.
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 15th day of October 1985.
