A BY-LAW TO CONFIHM TIlE PHUCEEDIN(jS OF TIlE COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE AT TillS MEETING HELD ON TIlE

DAY OF
FEBRUARY 1982
WHEREAS by Section 9 of The Municipal ^('L, l>(dng CII.lpter 2HI)
01' the Hevhwd Statutes of Ontariu lD70, tile powers of a munic.;ipal
corporation are to be exercised by its Council.
AND WHEREAS by Subsection 1 of Section ~I)l of The Municipal Act,
. being Chapter 284 of the Revised Statutes of Ontariu 1970, the
powers of every Council are to be exercised by by-law;
NOW TUEHEFOHE THE COUNCIL OF TilE TOWN OF NE\VCASTI.I'; I';NACTS AS FOLLOWS:

1. The actions of the Council of the Town of Newcastle at this
meet ing held on the 1st day 0 l' February 1982i Il resrwc t of each
recommendation contained in Uw !'PjlO!'l.s or till' CornmIttee~; and
eAch motion and rcsoluti(lll pas~wd and other action taken by the
Council of the Town of Newcastle at this mc~eting is hereby
adopted and confirmed as ir all suell proceedings were expressly
embodied in this by-law.
2. The Mayor and pruper ufricials 01' lll~' Town or N(JwcastJe art'
hereby authorized and din'eted to do a II things necessary to

3. The Mayor and Clerk are authorized and directed to execute all
documents necessary in that behal r arid to affix t!Wl'(Jto the
