THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW NO. 82-150
being a by-law to stop up and close and to
authorize the sale of all that portion of
Park Street, lying between BlockslU" and "V"
according to C.G. Hanning's Plan of part of
Lot Twenty-seven (27) in the Broken Front
Concession of the former Village of Newcastle,
designated as Parts Two (2) and Three (3)
on Plan lOR-1392.
WHEREAS :the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Newcastle
deems it desirable to pass this by-law;
AND WHEREAS notice of intention of the Council to pass the said
by-law in accordance with the requirements of Section 301,
Chapter 302 of The Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980, was published
in the

AND WHEREAS notice of the intention of the Council to pass this
by-law was sent by registered mail to the Regional Municipality
of Durham, on the 17th

AND WHEREAS the highway leads to the shore of Lake Ontario;
AND WHEREAS this by-laws does not take effect until it has been

NOW THEREFOR BE IT ENACTED AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED AS A BY-LAW
OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE AS FOLLOWS:
1. All that portion of Park Street, lying between Blocks "U"
and "V" in the. 'Down of. Newcas,tle hereinafter described are
hereby stopped up and closed:

deposited in the Land Registry Office for the
Registry Division of Newcastle (No. 10) on
November 6, 1981.
2. All that :portion of Park Street hereinbefore described

to abutting owners.
3. This. by-law shall not take effect until it has been approved
by the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing.
