BY-LAW 82-11
A BY-LAW TO CONFIHM THE PHOCEEDIN(jS OF TIlE COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE AT TillS MEETING HELD ON TIlE
18th DAY OF
JANUARY 1982
WHEREAS by Section D of The ~llIllicipal ^('L, I)(~jng Chapter ~H1
of the Hevised Statutes of Ontariu ID7U, the POWC'l'H of a muni<.:ipal
corporation are to be exercised by its COllncil.
AND WHEREAS by Subsection I of Section ~11 of The Municipal Act,
being Chapter 284 of the Revised Statutes of Ontario 1970, the
powers of every Council are to be exercised by by-law;
NOW THEHEFORE TIlE COUNCIL OF TilE TOWN 0]0' NEWCASTLI'; ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:

1. The nctions of lIw Couneil of L1)(~ Town or N(~wc:ujLle at thiH
meeting held on the 18th day ol'January 1982 ill respect of each
recommendation coptained in the reports of the COrJlITlittees and
each motion and resoluti(lll pass()d alld otlWl' action taken by the
Council of the Town of Newcastle at this llH.?eting is hereby
adopted and confirmed as if all suell proceedings were expressly
embodied in this by-law.
2. The Mayor and proper officials 01' tlll! Town of N(~weasLle are
hereby authorized and dir{'eted to du all things necessary to
give effect to the aellons of' L1lt~ Council 01' the Town of
Newcastle rl'ferred to in the pt'C'c(!cding ~wetjon hereof.
3. The Mayor and Clerk are authorized and directed to exeeute all
documents necessary in that behalf and to affix thereto the
Seal of the Towll of ~l'\\'('asth~.
