THE CORPORATION OF THE
TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW 80-74
being a by-law to amend by-law 77-25
WHEREAS on the 18th day of April, 1977, under The Cemeteries Act,
1970, Chapter 57, Section 65, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle
passed by-law 77-25, regarding the maintenance, management and control of certain
cemeteries in the Town of Newcastle, which had been deemed to be abandoned;
AND WHEREAS, other cemeteries in the Town of Newcastle are also
deemed to be abandoned, under The Cemeteries Act, R.S.O. 1970, Chapter 57, Section
62;
NOW THEREFOR the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
Schedule "A" to by-law 77-25 is hereby amended by adding:
Cemeteries in the former Township of Clarke
Graham property Lot 32, Conc. 2
Stutt Farm Lot 19, Conc. 4
Gilmer family plot Lot 2, Conc. 2
Coulter Farm (Bandstra) Lot 25, Conc, 2
This by-law shall come into effect when it has been approved by the Ministry of
Consumer and Commercial Relations.
