BY-LAW 80-67
A By-Law to amend Restricted Area By-Law Number 1592, as
amended, of the former Township of Clarke
.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle deems
it advisable to amend Restricted Area By-Law Number 1592, as amended,
of the former Township of Clarke.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle
ENACTS as follows:
1. Subsection 4 of Section 15 to By-Law 1592, as amended, is hereby
deleted and replaced by the following:
15.4 "Penalty
Every person who uses any lot, or erects, alters or uses any
building or structure in a manner contrary to any requirement
of this By-Law, or who causes or permits such use, alteration
or erection, or who violates any provision of this By-Law or
causes or permits a violation, shall be guilty of an offense
and on summary conviction therefor, is liable to a fine not
exceeding One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) exclusive of costs,
for each such offense and every such penalty shall be recoverable
under The Municipal Act and The Summary Convictions Act. Each
day of violation shall constitute an offense."
2. This By-Law shall become effective on the date hereof, subject
to the approval of the Ontario Municipal Board.
3. By-Law 80-26 passed on the 10th day of March 1980 is hereby repealed.
By-Law read a first time this 2nd day of June 1980.
By-Law read a second time this 2nd day of June 1980.
By-Law read a third time and finally passed this 2nd day of June 1980.
