TIlE CORroRATION OF'IHETOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY -LAW 80-65
Being a by-law to amend By-Law 79-68 being a by-law to
establish a Board of Managanent to operate a museum on
its behalf (Clarke Museum).
WHEREAS, on the 30th day of July 1979 the Council of the Corporation of
the Town of Newcastle passed By-Law 79-68 to establish a Board of Managanent
to operate a museum on its behalf (Clarke Museum)
AND WHEREAS Section 3(a) of the said by-law provided that the Board shall
consist of two members of Council and five other mEmbers who are qualified
to be elected as mEmbers of Council
AND WHEREAS Council deans it desirable to amend By-Law 79-68 to provide that
the Board shall consist of tw manbers of Council and six other mEmbers who
are qualified to be elected as mEmbers of Council.
'IHEREFOR the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle
HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That Section 3(a) of By-Law 79-68 be amended to read as follows:
3(a) The Board shall consist of two members of Council and six
other mEmbers who are qualified to be elected as manbers
of Council each of whan shall be appointed by Council.
By-Law read a first, second and third time
this Second day of June 1980.
