80-56
WHEREAS by Agreement dated the Thirtieth Day of April Nineteen Hundred
and Seventy-Nine between William George Ashton and Viola Maude Ashton and the
Corporation of the Town of Newcastle (which Agreement is hereinafter called "The
Street Lighting Agreement"), the Corporation contracted with Ontario Hydro for
the lighting of streets in that area of the Town as described in the Corporation
of the Township of Darlington By-Law No. 2425.
AND WHEREAS the Corporation desires that the Street Lighting Agreement
shall also apply to an additional area in the Town, as hereinafter described.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle
enacts as follows:
1.
THAT the Street Lighting Agreement shall apply to
that additional area in the Town, as hereinafter
desc~ibed, namely:
Part Lot 25, Concession 6, more particularly
described as Parts 1 & 2, Plan 10R-1005, former
Township of Darlington.

2. THAT One Hundred Per Cent (100%) of the costs in-
curred by the Corporation under the Street Lighting
Agreement for the lighting of the streets in the
said additional area shall be assessed and levied
on the rateable property in the area.
3. THAT 0% of the costs so incurred by the Corporation
shall be paid by the Corporation.
