BY-LAW NO. 80- 55
Being a by-law to rearrange monuments, markers
gravestones or other structures at The Old
Methodist Cemetery.
WHEREAS, The Old Methodist Cemetery, situated on Lot 27,
Concession 9, former Township of Darlington, now in the Town of
Newcastle, has been taken over by the Town in accordance with The
Cemeteries Act, R.S.O. 1970, Chapter 57, Section 62;
AND WHEREAS it has been found expedient for the proper maintenance
of the grounds that the monuments, markers or other structures in the
cemetery shall be moved and reerected in a central location;
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED that the Council of the Corporation of the Town
of Newcastle shall, under the authority of Section 65(2) of The Cemeteries
Act, R.S.O. 1970, Chapter 57, rearrange the monuments markers or other
structures as shown on Schedule "A" hereto attached.
This by-law shall come into effect on the date on which it is approved by
the Ministry of Consumer and Commercial Relations under Section 65(3) of
The Cemeteries Act, R.S.O. 1970, Chapter 57.
READ A FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD TIME and finally passed this

Being a by-law to rearrange monuments,
gravestones or other structures at The
Methodist Cemetery.
WHEREAS, The Old Methodist Cemetery, situated on Lot 27,
