TIIE CDRIQRATION OF THE 'IDWN OF NEWCASTLE By-Law 80-49 being a by-law to stop up and close and authorize the conveyance of all of Clarke Street lying between Blocks M and P, part lDt 'I\venty-8even (27), Broken Front Concession, designated as Parts Three (3), Four (4), Five (5) and Six (6), Plan lOR 1023; and all of Bond Street lying between Blocks P and S, part of Lot 'I\venty-8even (27) Broken Front Concession, Geographic Township of Clarke, fonner County of Ontario, designated as Parts Seven (7), Eight (8) and Nine (9), Plan lOR l023 now in the Town of Newcastle in the Regional Municipality of Durham. WHEREAS the, Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle deems it desirable to pass this by-law; AND WHEREAS notice of intention of the Council to pass the said by-law in accordance with the requirEments of Section 446 of The Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1970, Chapter 284, was published in the Newcastle Reporter on the following dates: February 6 1980, February 13 1980, February 20 1980 and February 27 1980; AND WHEREAS notice of the intention of the Council to pass this by-law was sent by registered mail to the Regional Municipality of Durham on the 28th day of January 1980, and the Regional Council has granted approval of the proposed by-law; NOW 'IHEREIDRE BE IT ENACTED AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED AS A BY-LAW OF TIIE CDRPORATION OF THE 'IOVN OF NEWCASTLE AS IDLIDWS: 1. Those portions of Clarke Street and Bond Street in the Town of Newcastle hereinafter described are hereby stopped up and closed: AIL AND SINGULAR those certain parcels or tracts of land and prEmises situate, lying and being in the Town of Newcastle, Regional Municipality of Durham, Province of Ontario, and being canposed of: FIRSTLY; all of Clarke Street lying between Blocks M and P according to C. G. Hanning's Plan of the former Village of Newcastle, forming part of original Township Lot 'I\venty- Seven (27) in the Broken Front Concession of the Geographic Township of Clarke, former County of Durham, lIX)re particularly designated as Parts Three (3), Four (4), Five (5), Six (6) according to said Plan lOR 1023. ..2 , . . . .
