'!HE CX)RIQRATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTlE
BY -LAW 80-30
A by-law to authorize the construction of a Fitness Centre at
Bomnanville High School
The Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle enacts as follows:
1. That a Fitness Centre be constructed at Bowmanville High School.
2. That the estimated cost will be $1327,300. funded as follows:
Conmunity Centre Grants $ 75,000.00
Wintario Grants 402,300.00
Other Grants (Re: Handicap Facilities) 40,000.00
Public Funding Raised by Splash (Minimum) 610,000.00
Estimated Town Funds (Maximum) 200,000.00
$1,327,300.00
3. That the said construction shall be under the supervision of
Totten, Sims, Hubicki, Consulting Engineers.
4. That the Mayor and Clerk be and are hereby authorized to do all acts
and sign all documents and affix the Corporate Seal of the Town
thereto as may be necessary in connection with the making of contracts
and other matters for the canpletion of the said undertakings
subject to approval of all grants.
5. That the Treasurer of the Municipality is hereby authorized to make
arrangements to sign any necessary documents to arrange tenporary
advances of lOOney to meet the cost of the \IDrk pending the completion
of the work.
