BY-LAW No. 80- I,)
Being a By-law imposing speoial annual drainage
rates upon land in respeot of whioh money is
borrowed under The Tile Drainage Aot 1971
WHEREAS owners of land in the munioipali ty have applied to the Council
under the Tile Drainage Aot, 1971, for loans for the purpose of oon-
struoting sub-surfaoe drainage works on suoh land;
AND WHEREAS the Counoil has upon their applioations lent the owners the
total sum or $40,300. to be repaid with interest by means or rates
hereinafter imposed;
BE IT THEREFORE ENAC'lED by the Council of the Corporation of the Town
of Newcastle, that annual rates as set out in Sohedule attaohed hereto
are hereby imposed upon suah land as desoribed for a period or 10
years, suoh rates to be levied and oolleoted in the same manner as
taxes;
AND FlJRTHERMORE, that this By-law is subjeot to the approval or The
Ontario Munioipal Board.
