Being a By-Law to amend By-Law 74-23, which is a by-law to authorize
a levy on the whole of the assessment for real property and business
prior to adoption of the annual estimates.
Whereas the Council deems it necessary to change the due date for
interm tax bills.
It is hereby resolved that section 2 of by-law 74-23 is hereby rescinded
and new section 2 is enacted as follows:

2. The taxes so levied shall be deemed to have been imposed and become
due and payable the 1st day of January in each year, but may be paid in
two instalments, the first instalment being due on or about the 3rd
Monday of February and the second instalment due on or about the 3rd
Monday of April.
Read a first, second and third time and finally passed
this 27th day of October 1980.
