REPEALED BY
BY-LAW 1#S.~:.lJ.7.
BY-LAW 80-125
A By-Law to establish certain lands as a
Municipal Highway
WHEREAS the Corporation has acquired certain lands as herein-
after described and the Council of the Corporation deems it
appropriate and necessary to accept the said lands as a Public
Highway;
AND WHEREAS Subsection 1 (a) of Section 443 of the Municipal Act,
R.S.O. 1970, Chapter 284, as amended, provides that the Council of
every municipality may pass by-laws for establishing and laying
out Highways;
THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle
enacts as follows:
THAT the lands described in Schedule "A" attached hereto being
part of Lot 8, Concession 1 in the said Town of Newcastle,
formerly the Township of Clarke, be and the same are hereby accepted
and dedicated as a public highway within the Town and all by-laws
presently in force with respect to highways and streets, shall apply
to the said highway created under this by-law.
By-Law read a first, second and third time this
Sixth day of October 1980.
