'llIE OORroRATION OF THE 'TOWN OF NEWCASTLE BY-LAW 80...J..IO being a by-law to stop up and close and authorize the conveyance of that portion of the side line road allowance between Lots Six (6) and Seven (7) in the Fifth Concession, former County of Durham, now in the Town of Newcastle, in the Regional Municipality of Durham WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Newcastle deems it desirable to pass this by-law; AND WHEREAS notice of intention of the Council to pass the said by-law in accordance with the requirements of Section 446 of The Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1970, Chapter 284, was published in the Canadian Statesman on the following dates: July 30 1980, August 6 1980, August 13. 1980, August 20 1980 AND WHEREAS notice of the intention of the Council to pass this by-law was sent by registered mail to the Regional Municipality of Durham, on the 28th day of July 1980 and the Regional Council has granted approval to the proposed by-law. row 'IHEREroRE BE IT ENACl'ED AND IT IS HEREBY ENACl'ED as a by-law of The Corporation of the Town of Newcastle as follows: l. Those portions of the road allowance in the Town of Newcastle hereinafter described are hereby stopped up and closed: AIL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract or land and prEmises situate, lying and being in the Town of Newcastle, Regional Municipality of Durham, Province of Ontario, and being composed of all that portion of the side line road allowance between Lots Six (6) and Seven (7) in the Fifth Concession of the Geographic Township of Darlington, former County of Durham, containing by admeasurement 3.806 acres, be the same rrore or less, rrore particularly described as follows: PREMISING that all bearings herein are astronanic and are referred to the meridian through the North-East angle of Lot Six (6), Concession 5, Geographic Township of Darlington; Beginning at the South-Westerly angle of said Lot 6; Thence South 72 degrees 09 minutes West in the Westerly production of the Southerly limit of said Lot 6 a distance of 20.50 feet to a point in the Easterly limit of a 66 foot travelled road running Northerly between said Lot 6 and Lot 7; Thence North l8 degrees 07 minutes West along the last-mentioned limit a distance of ll.62 feet to the point of intersection with the Northerly limit of Taunton Road as widened; this is the point of comnencement of the lands to be herein described; Thenre North 18 degrees 07 minutes West continuing along the Easterly limit of the aforesaid 66 foot travelled road a distance of 6564.26 feet rrore or less to a point in the Westerly production of the Northerly limit of said Lot 6, said point distant Westerly therein 30.00 feet from the North-Westerly angle of said Lot 6; . . . , .~ By-Law 80-110 Thence North 7l degrees 5l minutes East in the said production a distance of 30.00 feet to the NOrth-Westerly angle of said Lot 6; Thence South l8 degrees 02 minutes East along the Westerly limit of said Lot 6 a distance of 6564.39 feet IIDre or less to the point of intersection with a line drawn on a course of North 72 degrees 11 minutes 30 seconds East fran the point of coomencanent; Thence South 72 degrees II minutes 30 seconds West along the Northerly limit of Taunton Road as widened a distance of 20.52 feet IIDre or less to the point of ccmnencement. 2. Those portions of the road allowance hereinbefore described shall be conveyed by The Corporation of the Town of Newcastle to abutting owners.
