BY-LAW 80-107
being a by-law to provide for the mailing of notice
of locations of polling places
WHEREAS Section 46 (8) of the Municipal Elections Act provides that
in Municipalities with more than 5,000 electors, Council may pass a
by-law before September 1 to allow, in the case of resident electors,
that one notice may be addressed to all electors at one address, to
advise of the location of polling places.

'IlIEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle
hereby enacts as follows:
1. That the Town Clerk be authorized, in the case of resident electors,
to send one notice of the location of polling places for the Municipal
Elections to all the electors at each address.
By-Law read a first, second and third time and finally passed
