TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
By-Law NOe 74-87
Being a by-law to amend By-Law No. 74-72 being a by-law
for licensing, regulating and governing taxi drivers,
brokers and taxi vehicle owners, buses, motor and other
vehicles used for hire and for establishing rates and
fares to be charged by the owners or drivers of such
vehicles for the conveyance of goods, passengers, either
wholly within the municipality or to any point not more
than three miles beyond its limits, and for providing
for collection of such rates or fares and for revoking
any such licences.
BE IT ENACTED and it is hereby enacted as a By-law of the Corporation of the Town
of Newcastle as follows:-
10 THAT By-Law Noo 74-72 passed by the Council of the Corporation
of the Town of Newcastle on the 21st day of October, 1974 is
hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:-
(42) Tfu\T this By-Law Noo 74-72 will take effect on the first
day of January, 1975.
2. THAT Tarriff "A" attached to By-Law No. 74-72 be amended by
adding the following words:-
"Except that reduced rate may be granted to Senior Citizens."
