By-Law No. 74-73
Being a by-law to amend Zoning By-Law
No. 1587 as amended.
.
WHEREAS the ovmer of the lands affected by this by-law wishes to erect a single
family detached dwelling thereon. and;
WHEREAS the Council of the Regional Municipality of Durham did on the 10th day
of July, 1974, adopt an amendment to the Official Plan of the Bow~anville Planning
Area to permit the erection of such a dwelling;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE ENACTS
AS FOLLOWS:-

S~hedule "A" to By-Law 1587 as amended of the former Town of
is hereby amended by changing to "RE" the zone symbol of the
"Change to RE" on Schedule "X" attached hereto.

Special Provisions
No person shall vTithin the Residential Ec,tate RE Zone abutting
on the sou~ side of Concession Street Extension and affected
~y By-Law Noo 74-73 of the Town or Newcastle use any land or
erect, alter or use any building or structure for any purpose
which would require the placing of any fill below the top of
the bank on the said lands or the distrubance uf the~vegetation
on any valley slopeo

of the Ontario Municipal Board.
